I broke some teeth and found Dr. Fallah because I was looking for a more holistic, natural dentist. He did not disappoint.

I'm very happy with my new teeth and impressed by the way Dr. Fallah works. He is very gentle compared to other dentists I've been to. I could tell after a checkup appointment that he is an artist and treats my new teeth like an artist would his art.

Lastly and mostly importantly, I could tell he treats his staff really well. They're just happy in a way that happens only when working for a good boss.

I didn't receive any treatment but I called in with an issue I've been having and Cindy was really helpful in taking the time and answering my questions! I would definitely try their practice one day. Thanks again!

My experience with "Dr." Fallah and his front office "team" (aka his wife Teresa and payment collector, Cindi) was interesting and life changing. My mouth has never been the same...and for the worse. My jaw has never hurt so bad. My eye (located near tooth where he operated) has been swollen since he operated, 3 years ago.
His wife Teresa is out often with their children, and not in the office. She's the only one in the office who communicates with patients, so you have to wait to have a conversation until she's available. Cindi, who is by far one of the most unkind people I have ever met, has no bedside or "financial side" manor (as all she does is collect and process payment).
I wanted to have a holistic dental experience and he claims this is what he says he specializes in. I regret every day, he touched me!
He wasn't able to sedate me, like they had priced out originally, because he isn't experienced in finding veins-so after two hours and many sticks later, he did the operation while I was wide awake. He doesn't believe in pain medication so they didn't use anything orally.
Now the nightmare happens. He originally told me I needed PRF...but since he couldn't get blood, all the sudden he didn't need to do PRF to the area and would proceed to operate anyway...and keep me wide awake. After hours and hours of operating, he finished. Upon the healing process I mentioned many times I was in a lot of pain. A lot of swelling!!! My eye lid has been visibly swollen since the day I left his office, has never gone down and is extremely uncomfortable and fairly life changing...as it is believed to be nerve damage from his poor operation.
Weeks later I called...Received no call or email. A while after that I called, emailed, etc explaining the pain at the location of where he operated was VERY painful and I really needed them to X-ray it. After finally speaking to Teresa she agreed to let me be seen. I went into the office. They refused to X-ray me. I left and called several weeks later with the exact same complaint and refused to take their "no X-ray" comment. I went back in. They also told me I didn't need to be seen. I told them that's why I had come in. They took 2 minutes with me, dismissed all my concerns, told me I'm a slow healer and told me to leave.
I went to get a second opinion from a real biological dentist. They found pieces of tooth in my mouth, underneath where he had operated. It was infected and filled with bacteria.
Years later...my eye is still swollen and very painful.
He also pays to have reviews removed.
My hope is to save someone permanent damage, and also to save your pocket book a lot of money!!!

I sought Dr Fallah after receiving a reccomendation from my integrative doctor to have certain procedures taken care of while I also focused on strengthening my immune system. This was a very friendly and welcoming office and not just because of service providing personalities. Everything was geared to the patient's physical comfort, understanding of the procedures, and the diagnostics were cutting edge and revealed the issues clearly.
After the surgery, I felt good, and particularly inspired by the knowledge that the long term infection (which was not ever obvious to me) was now gone. I had no pain by evening, and my post op the next day showed a clean and well-suchered space, where my infected tooth had been. Dr. Fallah used ozone techniques to help heal and fill the large hole naturally. He and his staff were kind, caring, and professional. I highly reccommend this doctor and his office.

Dr Fallah, and his entire staff, are the BEST! I really appreciated his expertise in finally understanding the cause of my TMD. I'm currently in treatment to resolve it and have no doubt it will work. His warm and friendly presence is truly a joy to be around! Can't recommend this office enough. :)

When I started my dental journey, I had just moved to the US from Russia, where I had exposure to radiation, poor hygiene, and even worse dental care.
I remember my first dental appointment when my dentist told me that by age 50, I would probably lose all my teeth and wear dentures.
After forty years of different procedures, different opinions, and approaches, my mouth was in terrible shape. I was doing a lot of research, seeing the best doctors, or so I thought, and still lost my teeth, bone, and gums. And I have spent over $200,000 on dental procedures. But still, I didn't see the end of my issues.
I am from New York, and I came to San Diego three years ago for a business conference. Before committing to a procedure I intuitively didn't feel good about, I wanted another opinion.
Again, I did my research and found Dr. Fallah.
When I called the office, I was told that no appointments were available during my stay. I pleaded to squeeze me in. Cindi, who managed the office, was very compassionate and booked me to see the doctor. As I experienced later, she was always very much involved and accommodating my schedule, as I was flying from New York for my treatments.
I have seen a lot of dentists in my life; I immediately recognized that Dr. Fallah was different.
He is compassionate, highly skilled, and a kind person who listens and hears his patients' needs. My journey with him wasn't easy, but I didn't expect miracles. I knew I had a very complicated case. And he didn't tell me it would be easy.
When other dentists were looking at my x-rays and my mouth, all they saw $$$$. Dr. Fallah saw me as a human being and wanted to offer me the best solution for my condition.
The pandemic made this journey longer, but three years later, with two bone grafts, two sinus lifts, and eight implants, I can finally smile confidently and eat my food. I don't need to wear dentures.
Also, he has amazing people working in the office. Every single person exudes kindness and compassion. I felt like it was one caring family. Many times his staff stayed after hours to finish long, complicated treatments.
I recommended Dr. Fallah to my client from LA and my sister. And they both were happy with the results.
Thank you, Dr. Fallah, Cindi and the stuff!

Fair warning, this will be a long but an important post. My experiences with Dr. Fallah and his front office staff Teresa(Dr. Fallah's wife) and Cindi was a terrible one. I should have known after my first conversation with Teresa not to get treated by Dr. Fallah because she was extremely condescending and rude like some of the other reviewers stated. However, the reason I really wanted to get treatment from this office was because I am having health issues and felt like it was due to my root canal tooth and wanted to have it extracted with ozone to make sure everything gets cleaned out properly. So, I made an appointment and had to wait over two months to be seen. Once I got there they insisted on doing their own CT scan even though I had gotten one done a month earlier and brought it with me for them to review. Further they wanted me to do a DNA test to see what microbes were harboring in my root canal tooth to convince me I needed to have it extracted. Both of these things were absolutely unnecessary because I already knew I wanted to have it extracted. Also, this appointment costed me over $1000 just for the limited examine, CT scan, and a DNA test. I walked out of that appointment still in pain, but scheduled to have my root canal tooth extracted on March 15th 2021 which was another month and a half later. What happened after this was an absolute nightmare. I went in to have my tooth extracted on March 15th and part of the extraction consist of doing PRF in which they needed to draw my blood. So Dr. Fallah whipped out an instrument to try to find my veins. When I saw that I knew it was a red flag because only people that are not good at drawing blood need an instrument to draw blood. It took Dr. Fallah over half an hour and he still was not able to find my veins. He also poked my arm twice and left two huge bruises on my arm like someone had beaten me up. After this whole ordeal he told me he did not want to extract my tooth because his success in my healing is dependent upon doing the PRF. He told me instead to look for a oral surgeon near where l live to get the extraction done. At this point I was infuriated, but I asked him if he could recommend a oral surgeon that might use ozone and he said he didn't know of any and didn't seem too concerned that I wanted someone that used ozone to extract my root canal tooth. This was quite puzzling to me because I thought root canal tooth extraction is extremely toxic and should be cleared out carefully with ozone. However, when he told me to just find a regular oral surgeon to get my teeth extracted it seems like ozone is really not too important to him. So, which is it? Is it really important and that's why they believe and use it or is it just another way to get more money out of their patients. Not only did he seem like he can care less about why I wanted to have the root canal tooth extracted with ozone, it also seemed like he was trying to blame me for not being able to find my veins to do the PRF. However, before my appointment I had even been juicing vegetables for a several weeks just as he instructed me to. On the day of the appointment I also drank two cups of water before the appointment. I would have drank more that morning, but I had to start driving for an hour to get his office that morning at 8:00am. Regardless of the hydration, I've never had problems when I had blood drawn or had an IV done at any other hospitals or labs I have ever been to, so I don't think it's me that is the problem here. Also, they kept insisting that I needed to pay for the procedure up front before my appointment and that it was unusual for them to make the appointment without charging me the full amount of $2000 just for the extraction and $750 for the IV sedation if I wanted to be sedated. Furthermore, if I wanted an implant it was going to be another $4500 for the zirconium implant plus abutment of $750 and $1790 for the crown. Had I agreed to get the implant, I was told I had to pay when I scheduled the appointment which would have been about $7250 for the extraction, sedation, and just the implant without the abutment and crown. I had a feeling that since I only opted for the extraction that day, Dr. Fallah felt that it was not worth his time and trouble to help me especially when it took them an hour into the appointment and he was still unable to draw my blood and get setup in time to do the extraction. All this to say, don't think just because they are holistic they really care about you and your health. At the end of the day it's really about the money and your health is only important to you not them despite what they might lead you to believe.

As I recently moved back to north county I called to potentially establish myself as a new patient...explore pricing and procedure options. This was communicated to me poorly so I needed clarification. In a phone call that took 4 minutes and 35 seconds I was rushed off the phone numerous times. I got the feeling the front desk doesn't care about their patients. From reading the other reviews I'm guessing Dr. Fallah is a great guy, but the woman I spoke to today turned me off with her attitude. Thankfully there are other more compassionate and empathic options who offer biological dentistry.

Let me start off by saying don't be deterred by some of the negative reviews, you will not regret seeking dental care from Dr. Fallah. I mostly utilize holistic medicine and I am not sure what took me so long to see a holistic/biologic dentist. Yes, you are going to pay more out of pocket as they do not accept insurance, but it is so worth it as your oral health has such a big impact on your overall health, and this is often overlooked.
I have been to their office 3 times so far. The first visit was for an overall exam and I also elected to have the DNA test done on my root canal tooth. I think most root canals have a lot of nasty things growing in there so I was pretty sure it would come back with a lot of bacteria, but seeing it on paper is helpful when making the decision about whether or not to pull the tooth.
My second visit I went for a cleaning with Jen and it was by far the most thorough cleaning I've ever had done. I have had "deep cleanings" before but those still didn't compare with the cleaning I had with Jen. She is passionate about her work and it shows!
My last visit was to have 2 cavities taken care of. These are never pleasant visits but everything went off without a hitch and I never felt the needle going in, which I can't say the same thing about prior treatments with other Dentists. I had a chronic earache that I was treating and it went away the day after getting one of my cavities filled. Within 24 hours I had no soreness and feel great.
I watched the documentary the Root Cause and it totally makes sense and is backed up by numerous Drs. This is what led me to search for a holistic Dentist. I located one in Portland and was even considering flying to see him but thankfully Dr. Fallah is only a 35 minute drive.
Lastly, not only does Dr. Fallah do great work but he is friendly and attentive to your needs. You won't regret having your oral care in his hands!
