      If I could go have coffee and just talk with Dr. Jones for an hour i absolutely would. Not only is she professional but incredibly kind as well. I felt comfortable asking her whatever questions I wanted too and she answered them with expertise. She clearly knows what she is doing AND seems to actually care about your teeth and health. I didn't feel rushed through the appointment as i usually do with any medical professionals. She treated me like a real human not just another patient.

      I haven't had any work done yet, just the exam, but when I'm able to, I will update this review in regards to the procedures. Even still, I'd recommend her to anyone!

      I called them and asked them to represent me in my disability case, when I told her I was a felon, she told me she couldn't help me. I wouldn't use them at all. How in considerate is that. They are very unprofessional. Bad experience for me. Don't use them.

      I started going to Dr Jones for a holistic approach to my dental needs. After my last visit I decided to stop my treatment with her despite paying for everything in full. I no longer feel that her office takes proper precautions to a holistic dental approach. I felt my health was put at risk. I was in agonizing pain the days after my appointment. Dr. Jones is very slow. She is older in age and her communication and treatment takes longer than normal. I was at her office for more than 8 hours. I left with not proper fitting temps that immediately chipped, broke, and hurt my gums. She left me in the middle of my appointment to have lunch for hours. Without finishing my appointment, she left me waiting to see another patient. Her office is short-staffed, it is usually just Dr. Jones, the assistant, and the office manager. When the office manager realized Dr. Jones had left me unattended for hours, she stepped in to do my impressions and get my temps on so I could leave. Due to Dr. Jones negligence a tooth that she had previously prepped for a crown decayed and I ended up having to get it pulled. I continuously refused to do more work in my mouth, but they kept insisting on more teeth needed to be prepped. Always insisting on new work generating more money since they charge everything upfront. It has been like pulling teeth (no pun intended) to get them to answer my calls and respond to my emails. She still has not given me my dental records and refunded my money from the unfinished work. It has been months. I am convinced she is also a thief and a liar. She blames me for my appointment taking more than 8 hours and the temps braking, she says I had too many questions and that I grind my teeth. I do not grind my teeth. Compared to my new dentist that did similar work to what she did. I was in and out in about 4 hours with proper fitting temps that have not chipped or broken in over 4 weeks. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. I am fully transparent and would not like anyone to fall in my shoes due to her care.

      Too long didn't read: find another dentist for any surgical needs. Most of her good reviews are likely from routine dental cleaning patients.

      I saw Dr. Jones for a removal of a tooth with a root canal. She hit a nerve during the procedure and I experienced excruciating pain and numbness that continued for weeks and months after the procedure. It was awful. Her assistant was inexperienced and didn't know what she was doing (also forgot her glasses at home and still proceeded to assist during the surgery). Dr. Jones is extremely slow and not skilled.

      Her office charges high rates and her billing staff is awful to work with. I had to call so many times to follow up on reimbursement from my insurance company.

      Unprofessional office and staff. Go somewhere else, or at the very least, get a second opinion.

      I normally don't write reviews unless exceptional or very bad. After paying $250 for a consultation for a snoring problem, I was very excited to get the night-laser procedure at Houston Biological Dentist w/Dr. Marlyn Jones which was set right next day after my consultation. When I went back for the procedure appointment was surprised and slapped with additional charges of $500 more than my initial agreement to $250 that I ready paid the day of consultation. When I asked why these extra charges and clearly I never agreed to, they said that they completed a CT scan and it costs more. I tried to reason with office staff and including talking to Dr. Jones about these surprising additional costs and maybe work something out because I really wanted to get the night-laser done for my bad snoring problem. Dr. Jones was un-welling to come to an agreement even though it was their fault to do a CT scan with out my consent to additional charges. I normally stick to my principles in these cases and I refused to agree to the practice of fraudulent billing by Dr. Jones corrupt office and staff. I was forced to pay the additional $500 however, or suffer the consequence of facing collections and bad credit report. I walked out of Dr. Jones office humiliated, frustrated and helpless do get a solution to them rip me off in middle of the day. I was charged $750 for just a consultation that was supposed have been $250. I condemn the unethical practice by healthcare institutions and these office of Dr. Jones is one of them. Please be aware of this place.

      I would not give this charlatan any stars. I first went to Marilyn Jones about 15 years ago because she was recommended as a "holistic" dentist to remove mercury fillings and replace them with porcelain. All of those fillings started leaking within a few years causing more decay and more serious problems. I had been told porcelain fillings would last a lifetime or at least decades. She replaced the fillings at my cost of course and cracked a tooth in the process which I had to have a root canal on by a different dentist. For the last 6 years I have have been dealing with the complications of her horrendous dental work. A very painful and expensive as well as time consuming process. Before going to her I had few fillings and healthy teeth. I now have 4 crowns and 2 implants as the direct result of Jones failure to use a good adhesive for the porcelain crowns.

      If you value the health of your teeth do not go to this dentist.

      Before coming here I had a bad experience at the previous dental office I visited. Therefore I was scared and expected the worst.

      I came in for a regular check-up and cleaning. Everything went well, no cavities, doctor and dental assistants were also very nice and thorough with the process. They also took care of some fillings that needed to be done and now my teeth don't hurt when I eat something sweet.

      Will definitely be coming back for regular check-ups and cleaning, and any other dental procedures. Highly recommended.

      I had x-rays that were top 3D scans from another dentist and made an appointment to see if Dr. Jones could review the scans I already had because of my medical issues did not want to take more x-rays for the 3rd time in a months time. The office/ front desk people were so rude to me and couldn't even open the scans on my disc..they wouldn't even have Dr. Jones meet me and talk to me about my situation or ask her to try to open the images (which most dentist understand each other's programs esp when new technology). They told me I'd have to take new x-rays when they didn't even see the ones I had w me. They also kept changing their story about what kind of scans I needed. I needed help w a specific tooth then they said we need scans to see whole mouth to see about cavities..then I said ok I have those kind of x-rays too but not w me then they would change their story again well you're here for a specific tooth? Yes!!! Omg listen to your customers! Sad because they lost a customer and prob my whole family as customers cause they were rude and don't have customer service. Dr. Jones is prob a good dentist but the people who work for her terrible and rude. When I went to leave I asked if they wanted me to finish the paper work the girl rolled her eyes and said no rudely..I grabbed my disc and left in tears..

      First to Review

      First time here and I have to say I was really impressed. The location of the office is great and easy to find and the staff here are very professional. I found Dr. Jones when I started my search for a dentist in the area and I'm glad I did. I don't know about the other services she provides but speaking for myself I can say I think she has routine dental and patient care down pat, I just might make this my permanent dentist office.

      I went to see her to have my metal crowns removed. After some build up she made me a temporary crown. I told her right away something seemed off but she assured me everything was fine. I went home and after a day of my bite being off and causing extreme excruciating pain every time I bit down I called her again. How hard is it to make a temporary? She told me I was over reacting. She said she was out of town for two weeks and would see when she got back! WHAT! I found another dentist. The new dentist I saw said the temporary as way too high, was she blind? When my crown came in Dr. Marilyn's office called me to come get it put on. I NEVER got that call after her vacation!! I said "No WAY"! I said," I would pay only for the work received nothing else!" They sent me an invoice for the WHOLE amount that was more than what I had been quoted originally. Good thing I had kept all the original paperwork. I sent that in to Care Credit and they sided with me and also pointed out that the Dr. was tying to take advantage of the situation by over charging, not providing good are, and apologized for my experience. She is not accurate, dishonest, cold, and manipulative. Only interested in the $$$$ She gives Biological Dentistry a BAD name!!
