Dr. Logan King's 'Mercury Safe Dentist' office is located in Greenville, SC, 29607. He is mercury free (amalgam/silver filling free) and mercury safe and he is dedicated to the practice of health-based dentistry. His goal is to treat his guests in the most healthy, caring, holistic way possible and to share information about dental wellness with his guests so that they can make educated decisions about their oral health. Safe Mercury Amalgam/Silver Filling Removal Protocols
As your Oral Health Doctor, Dr. King is aware that mercury vapor, dental infections, and TMJ (bite) problems can have a negative impact on oral and overall health. Because of these concerns, we focus on guest education and strive to remove mercury amalgam (silver) fillings in a safe way. To accomplish this, we utilize removal protocols for safely removing amalgam fillings based on the recommendations of the International Association of Mercury Safe Dentists (IAMSD) and New Directions Dentistry (NDD), and the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), which has set the standard for practicing mercury safe dentistry.

SMART Certified
The IAOMT has developed rigorous standards for safely removing mercury amalgam dental fillings by reducing the unnecessary and excessive exposure to mercury released from these fillings. The IAOMT's recommendations are known as the Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART). 
At this time, Dr. King is one of a growing number of IAOMT members who qualifies as a SMART Certified IAOMT dentist. With the SMART designation you can be confident that he is fully qualified to safely remove mercury amalgam (silver) fillings.

About Dr. King
Dr. King has devoted his dental career to practicing healthy, holistic, non-invasive, biocompatible dentistry. He is also a proponent of making the dental office occupationally safe as possible regarding mercury and he strives to protect the guest, the staff, and the environment from excessive and unnecessary exposure to mercury at the dental office.
Dr. King has also participated in numerous charitable dental initiatives, including Give Kids a Smile, Smile Generation Serve Day, and the Healthy Mouth Movement, reflecting his commitment to serving others and expanding access to quality dental care. While earning his degree at Nova Southeastern University he donated bone marrow through Be The Match to help a young individual in need.
