About Our Mercury Safe Dental Practice
Dr. Janet Stopka's "Mercury Safe Dentist" office is located in Burr Ridge, IL. She is mercury free (amalgam/silver filling free) and mercury safe and she is dedicated to the practice of holistic, healthy, biocompatible dentistry. Her goal is to treat her patients in the most healthy, caring, holistic way possible and to share her knowledge about dental wellness with her patients so that they may make educated decisions about their oral health. Safe Mercury Amalgam (Silver) Filling Removal Protocol
As your Oral Health Doctor, Dr. Stopka is aware that mercury vapor, dental infections, TMJ (bite) problems can have a negative impact on oral and overall health. To accomplish this, we utilize removal safe protocols based on recommendations of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) and other prominent biological and holistic dental organizations. SMART Certified
The IAOMT has developed rigorous standards for safely removing mercury amalgam dental fillings by reducing the unnecessary and excessive exposure to mercury released from these fillings. The IAOMT's recommendations are known as the Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART).
At this time, Dr. Stopka is one of a small number of IAOMT members who qualifies as a SMART Certified IAOMT dentist. With the SMART designation you can be confident that she is fully qualified to safely remove mercury amalgam (silver) fillings.
