Dr. Terry Rose's 'Smile in Style' Mercury Safe Dental Office is located in Sunbury, Victoria. He is both mercury free (amalgam/silver filling free) and mercury safe and he is dedicated to the practice of health based dentistry. Safe Mercury Amalgam Filling Removal Protocols
As your Oral Health Doctor, Dr. Rose is aware that mercury vapor, dental infections, and TMJ (bite) problems can have a negative impact on oral and overall health. Dr. Rose has completed the New Directions Dentistry (NDD) course, and received his Certification, in How to Make Your Practice Mercury Safe - Minimizing Occupational Exposure to Mercury in the Dental Office. This is the only course of its kind offered to dentists and qualifies him to remove mercury amalgam fillings safely, protecting himself, his staff, his patients, and the environment from excessive and unnecessary exposure to mercury vapor at the dental office.
We also incorporate the recommendations of the International Association of Mercury Safe Dentists (IAMSD) and other prominent holistic dental organizations

The IAOMT has developed rigorous standards for safely removing mercury amalgam dental fillings by reducing the unnecessary and excessive exposure to mercury released from these fillings. The IAOMT's recommendations are known as the Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART).
At this time, Dr. Rose is one of a small number of IAOMT members who qualifies as a SMART Certified IAOMT dentist. With the SMART designation you can be confident that he is fully qualified to safely remove mercury amalgam (silver) fillings.

About Dr. Rose
Dr. Rose Dr Terry Rose completed a Bachelor of Science in 1981 and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1984 at the University of Otago in New Zealand. He is the principle owner of the Smile in Style Dental Practice and established his business in 1990 in the Moonee Ponds and Sunbury areas.
Terry's philosophy is: By using the latest technologies and techniques in dentistry available today, he can achieve the best treatment results possible for his patients in his practice. Terry's commitment to new technologies goes hand in hand with his interest in attending many continuing education seminars which ensures that he can give his patients the best treatment options available in dentistry today.
