About Our Mercury Safe Dental Practice
Dr. Nathan Pfister's "Mercury Safe Dentist" office is located in Dohan, AL. His office is Mercury Safe, Mercury Free (amalgam/silver filling free) dentist and he is dedicated to practicing safe and healthy dentistry.. SMART Certified
The IAOMT has developed rigorous standards for safely removing mercury amalgam dental fillings by reducing the unnecessary and excessive exposure to mercury released from these fillings. The IAOMT's recommendations are known as the Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART).
At this time, Dr. Pfister is one of a small number of IAOMT members who qualifies as a SMART Certified IAOMT dentist. With the SMART designation you can be confident that he is fully qualified to safely remove mercury amalgam (silver) fillings.

Early prevention, combined with minimally invasive dentistry is critical to long term dental health. Safe methods we use daily include air abrasion and stabilizing decay by using oxidation ozone therapy and calcium phosphate.
We are metal free and very experienced at safe mercury removal. Our focus on prevention includes phase-contrast microscope plaque analysis (spirochete analysis and Oral DNA), extensive home care instruction, diet analysis, nutrition counseling for detox, xylitol therapy, oral probiotics, and pH analysis.
