About Our Mercury Safe Dental Practice
Dr. Eileen McGinty's "Mercury Safe Dentist" office is located in Littleton, CO. She is mercury free (amalgam/silver filling free) and mercury safe and she is dedicated to practicing safe and healthy dentistry. Her mission is to share information about all aspects of dental wellness with her patients so that they can make educated decisions about their oral health. Holistic/Biological Dentistry is a philosophy that recognizes that the teeth and associated oral structures are a part of the whole body. Safe Amalgam/Silver Filling Removal Protocols
As your Oral Health Doctor, Dr. McGinty is aware that mercury vapor, dental infections, and TMJ (bite) problems can have a negative impact on oral and overall health. To accomplish this, she utilizes removal protocols based on recommendations of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) and other prominent holistic dental organizations. SMART Certified
The IAOMT has developed rigorous standards for safely removing mercury amalgam dental fillings by reducing the unnecessary and excessive exposure to mercury released from these fillings. The IAOMT's recommendations are known as the Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART).
At this time, Dr. McGinty is one of a small number of IAOMT members who qualifies as a SMART Certified IAOMT dentist. With the SMART designation you can be confident that she is fully qualified to safely remove mercury amalgam (silver) fillings.
