About Our Mercury Safe Practice
Dr. Krupa George's "Pure Holistic Dental" office is located in Sugar Land, TX. She is Mercury Safe, Mercury Free (amalgam/silver filling-free) and is dedicated to practicing safe and healthy dentistry. Her mission is to share information about all aspects of dental wellness with her patients so that they can make educated decisions about their oral health. Holistic Dentistry
Holistic Dentistry is a philosophy that recognizes that the teeth and associated oral structures are a part of the whole body. Because of this important relationship, we offer a wide range of healthy treatment options. Given her advanced training and emphasis on total health, Dr. George takes a unique Whole Body approach to oral health care; combining sound dental science, modern technology, and years of experience - with a deep concern for her patients' physical and emotional well-being and comfort.
Safe Amalgam/Silver Filling Removal Protocols
As your Oral Health Doctor, Dr. George is aware that mercury vapor, dental infections, and TMJ (bite) problems can have a negative impact on oral and overall health. Because of this concern, we focus on patient education and strive to remove mercury amalgam (silver) fillings in a safe way.
We believe it is important to protect the patient, the environment, and our staff from exposure to excessive and unnecessary occupational exposure to mercury during the amalgam removal process. SMART Certified
The IAOMT has developed rigorous standards for safely removing mercury amalgam dental fillings by reducing the unnecessary and excessive exposure to mercury released from these fillings. The IAOMT's recommendations are known as the Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART).
At this time, Dr. George is one of a small number of IAOMT members who qualifies as a SMART Certified IAOMT dentist. With the SMART designation you can be confident that she is fully qualified to safely remove mercury amalgam (silver) fillings.

About Dr. George
Dr. George has devoted her dental career to practicing healthy, holistic, non-invasive, biocompatible dentistry. She is also a proponent of making the dental office occupationally safe regarding mercury and she strives to protect the patient, the staff, and the environment from excessive and unnecessary exposure to mercury at the dental office.
I was born and raised in England and my British roots are as deep as my love for fish and chips. Growing up in Gujarati-Indian family sparked my interest in learning about Ayurveda, something that was common in my household. Ayurveda is one of the oldest forms of holistic healing, dating back 3000 years to India.
